I enjoyed watching the season 2 marathon today. I caught it from an earlier point than I did last time which let me see how far Jay progressed in the competition as well as his inability to incorporate constructive criticism into his game.

From what I've read a lot of people are disappointed that this season's cast is so diverse, I on the other hand really like that. I think I would like a season of civis vs military, but may have to be active vs. retired + civis to really be competitive.

That chick didn't have any luck on her side, did she? Lost the first competition to be put on the Loser team. Then her team lost the challenge. Then she lost the elimination challenge.

Edit to add that I know there is another woman left, but she didn't look too convincing either so I don't think she'll be around long.

I really didn't get enough of a chance to determine who I think is top 3 just yet.

I also think splitting one team of winners and one team of losers wasn't a good idea. We'll see if the loser team wins any challenges.

yeah, i'm excited about some of the futuristic weapons (e.g. cornershot) that they're going to use. But I'm not as enthusiastic about at least one of the primitive weapons I saw during the first few minutes of teasers: ROCKS.

Seriously? throwing effing rocks? I get it, but that sounds lame. Recurve bows, throwing knives, tomahawks, those are at least pretty cool, but c'mon.... ROCKS?!?!

I'm glad the red team won this week. The blue team was getting a bit ridiculous with the golf club training runs. It's almost like they were expecting the same challenge they just had again. It was hilarious how the lady swat team member said she got flustered and couldn't perform with other guns going off around her...you would think she would be trained for that.

Yeah, she definitely disappointed, given her credentials. That being said, Dustin shot pretty damn well.

That Jake guy is pretty overbearing and annoying. I liked him initially just based on his Military Service, but he's appearing to just be a jackass, especially after he blew up at Mike for that little "Nice shooting, Jake" jab. He can dish that trash talk, but obviously can't take it since he got all hyper-defensive.

Michael should have gone to the elimination challenge. He was the shot gun guy and he did horribly. Then he had the audacity to say that other people weren't stepping forward to nominate themselves for not doing well

Yea, he also lied about how well he did in the challenge. He won't last long. I hope they change up the team soon. This winners vs. losers sucks if the winners just continually beat the losers. I think the red team winning last week was a fluke.

I enjoyed how the last two weeks' episodes had supposed weak, underdog individuals dumbfound their teams when they completely destroy their supposedly stronger, more skilled teammates in elimination challenges. The sort of, "Holy crap... I guess he can shoot after all."

Well, it wasn't much of a surprise in hindsight or if they bothered looking at his credentials. Perhaps its selective editing, but they made it seem like most of his own team expected him to get eliminated.

Yeah he claimed to go 5 for 10 when he really went 2 for 10. How did no one call him out on this??? Especially if if is a self proclaimed shotgun expert. If he did this bad in his specialty, he will be a useless burden on the rest of the challenges.






On a side note, I don't like how the elimination challenges have nothing to do with the team challenges. It should be the same weapons.

I watched this week's episode last night. Mike is def. a douche with very little talent under pressure (at least so far). Jake is a dick, as per usual. Those Gatling guns were pretty badass!

That Dustin kid obviously has some serious shooting talent, he's been able to excel with all the weapons thus far.

Agreed. I really liked him, particularly that rivalry with Grimes.

Rocks was goofy (though I thought the window shaped target was about as good as they could get with them), but personally, they made up for it with the Hotchkiss Mountain Gun. I've really liked the weapons they used for the challenges so far; at least if people are going to get eliminated, they can say they got eliminated using some crazy-ass weapon they'll probably never get to fire again in real life. Kinda like the Tommy Gun from last season.
