The old thread was dead. I'm going there for a week on vacation starting tomorrow. Besides drinking our way through town, biking everywhere, and hiking, what should we check out? My sister in law and her husband will be working during the day, and joining us during the nights.

Any good restaurants we should check out? We're vegetarian. How far away is Ft. Collins? I'd like to bike out there and visit New Belgium, which gave our bike co-op a grant, and we helped bring Tour de Fat here to Durham.

Estes park is really pretty. Has the haunted hotel that stephen king stayed at that inspired The Shining.

^not in Boulder, but I would definitely recommend going to Estes Park (and into the Rocky Mountain National Park)... epic scenery.

Fort Collins is about 45 miles away or about an hour. If you drive all they way up there be sure to hit Odell, Funkwerks, and Fort Collins Brewery, the best 3 in Fort Collins. New Belgium is good and most well-known, but there are better.

- Rent a tube and float down the river.
- I've heard the Dinner Theatre is pretty cool.
- Celestial Seasonings?
- Boulder Falls
- Boulder Farmer's Market
- Activity in Boulder Canyon (mountain biking or rock climbing)
