I hate when restaurants only have one option for their menu during restaurant week. Like 518 West's: http://www.godowntownraleigh.com/restaurantweek/menus/menu518west.pdf

It feels like they don't really want to be a part of restaurant week but are doing it for the marketing. What's the point if my husband can't order something different from me that I steal bites of?

Currently debating between Busy Bee, Sitti, Tasca Brava, Capital Club 16, and Tuscan Blu. I've been to Sitti and Capital Club 16 before so maybe I'll try something new.

Restaurant Week is living hell for the restaurants and their employees. Can't blame them for tempering the pain.

^ Really because most of the time when I've gone the restaurant doesn't seem any busier than they are on a typical night. I remember we went to one restaurant last year and the waiter told us we were the first people to order from the restaurant week menu on his shift since it started and it was a Wednesday.

I remember trying The Mint one year, and it didn't seem like everyone was there for Restaurant Week.

Market Restaurant is on there and my parents keep telling me to go and try it out. Maybe I'll do it during Restaurant Week

Tasca Brava is amazing - you need to try it sometime. My dad and I have been going to that restaurant since he was in North Raleigh. Just be warned - go when you don't have somewhere else to be. The owner believes in the "slow food movement" so this isn't a place to go to if you have plans after.
