So this past year I have lived in Europe and discovered good beer. I was a Miller Lt. kid for ages. When I went back to the States I discovered that the US has good beer too! Recently tried this one in a little brew pub in Folly Beach, SC and LOVED it.
What's one of your favorite beers? 8/25/2011 8:22:31 PM |

Having traveled extensively in Europe, I was so disappointed to find out that NC has way larger variety in beer, greater access to better beer, and far more craft/microbrew beer than Europe.
A couple months into Scotland and I was fucking clawing my eyes out looking forward to being back in Raleigh and having access to literally hundreds of beers, whereas every pub in Scotland had the same eight beers on tap.
So: What Bobby said. 8/25/2011 9:43:12 PM |

They have some really shitty beer in Australia, and, no, I'm not talking about Fosters--no one drinks that swill over there. InBev doesn't even bother shipping their crap over there to compete with the likes of XXXX and VB. Microbreweries seem to be kind of non-existant, too, for some reason. 8/25/2011 9:51:18 PM |
