nah the problem is this is the pre-release, so i cant automatically download the current rosters until monday/tuesday at midnight...they have the draft picks, but not free agency

worst position player is Vikings fullback Ryan D'Imperio who is a 41, followed by (another punter and) Saints LOLB Justin Drescher who is a 43

its basically the full game, minus Ultimate Team

you buy the EA Sports Season Pass for $25 (2000 MS points) and download Madden for free...its like a 4.5 gig download, so its pretty much everything...then it expires in 5 minutes for me...you then pay another $25 for the full game (MUT) and all your settings, online leagues, achievements, etc carry over

i couldnt get it to work the first game i tried it in, but it was a MUT game and I was up 3 and the opponent had the ball so I assume you have to have a comfortable lead...about to try it in an exhibition game

Go to the Xbox live menu and scroll down, you should see the update roster button

another way to get the most recent roster update is to play an online game...it will download it before the game starts and make sure you're up to date

i played the early release...the physics are pretty cool...but also you'll have lots of guys running into each other and falling down

I've enjoyed it so far for the most part. The physics engine is great during plays but after plays it can be hilarious. People just walking slowly after the play is over when suddenly they barely touch someone laying on the ground, and they fall down and appear to break both legs at the same time.

I started a career with Cam, but the Panthers promptly cut Lafell and Gettis before the season, and my 2nd best WR is Danny Amendola. Then they picked up Cedric Benson and made him the starter, which I don't want at all. So I quit that and I'm going to wait until the rosters are more set before I start a Cam career.

After that I created a running back and put him on the Colts, which was fun in preseason and I racked up yards easily (All-around high draft back is beastly), but I'm tied in rating with incumbant running back and he plays the whole game. I get punt and kick returns but I don't have any of those as my weekly goals so I can't get any XP for them. Without being able to play in games I don't have enough points to upgrade my player, which means I won't be able to pass the incumbant and play in any games, which means... you get the idea.

Do I progress any on my own without spending points? At 1000 points a week from practice it will take me approximately 46 seasons to get the starting job.

All the "play a career as one player" modes seem silly to me. Madden is meant to be played controlling everyone, preferably with your buddy on a couch with copious amount of marijuana. Never understood the whole concept.
