A buddy of mine wants to get a set of used truck tires ('90 Tacoma). I only know of one place (Exxon gas station off Hillsborough St. near by Gorman intersection). Anywhere else in the Raleigh area? He's really stingy, so $20 or so a tire would be fantastic. 9/2/2011 9:15:42 PM |

I use craigslist for this type of stuff, almost always a good deal on tires if he's not crunched for time. Someone on here mentioned something about a flea market in north raleigh that does installs of the used tires on the cheap as well. 9/2/2011 9:36:35 PM |

there's a spot on capital (north bound) before the wade ave exit I think. I've never been there but I see the signs. 9/3/2011 1:16:32 AM |

Sorry. I meant '90s tacoma. I don't know what year it is. Probably a 95 or 96. It's a first gen, that's all I was trying to convey.
^^ Glad someone is on the same page as me.

Haha, good luck finding $20 tires at any decent "shop". You're more likely to pay $25-32 for a decent used tire these days. At least in the High Point, NC area.
I am in the used tire business. If you wanted to drive all the way to High Point, I've probably got whatever size he's looking for. We have a huge warehouse of used tires. 9/4/2011 9:12:55 AM |
