last week the game was really fast for glennon. this week the game will start to slow down for him and we'll roll, but still w/ huge questions in the o-line, and i'd wager that we'll let up a ton of yards again.

State hasn't won in Winston Salem in 10 years. Our performance against Liberty gives me no hope that we'll be able to break that streak.

i'll take any kind of win this weekend. Its hard to know how wake looked last weekend because I don't know how good syracuse is supposed to be. Givens looked sneaky quick, and Price looked more than capable...however, i don't know how that will translate against our defense. I'm always frightened going to Winston Salem sadly. We shall see, Go Pack!

^^ We are a 1 pt favorite playing WF. If you do not think we are already in trouble, then you need to take off your blinders. We looked like absolute shit on offense against Liberty and showed little improvement as the game progressed. Our OL is retardedly bad.

Very sick feeling about this game.

Something tells me their passing game will give us fits and Glennon just isn't ready yet to match. We need to get our running game going or this could be a long season.

I dont know what it is yet, but I probably will like the under. WF always tries to slow games down and our O-line looked like shit last week.

Sometimes, it's like you people are only watching the game when bad shit goes on. Glennon throws like a pro when he has time, VERY accurately. He only threw one BAD pass last week, and one pass that was a receiver communication error. There were several plays where our guys gave Glennon tons of time to pass. They just weren't ready to handle the blitz around the corner... Something I bet they are going to work on this week. In the second half, there were several plays where Gentry picked that blitz up no problem and freed Glennon up to take his time.

Underwood is not a break away runner. It's part of the reason Liberty was able to completely ignore those fakes early in the game. They knew they would be able to catch that guy in the secondary, but it burned them later on. He's going to pick us up some yards to set up the running game early next week, but not explode. Glennon's passing game is going to be fantastic, as expected. we're going to struggle early against Wake again, but our defense is going to keep us in the game until we figure out a winning attack strategy.

i just don't see us losing to Wake, maybe it will be close, but have they upgraded all that significantly from last year? not really, not to make up the pt. differential from last year.

I don't even think Glennon needs to be all that spectacular. We're gonna start this game with the same plan of the 2nd half of Liberty and really try and establish the run. Not worried about Defense at all or Wake's Offense. If wake wants to pass the ball around like Liberty the only thing we need to sure-up is the mid range passes down the middle. And if we win 4-2 i'll be damn happy

^^It was only one game, but Wake's starting QB looked miles ahead of where he was last year. He was downright pitiful last year. Looked pretty darn good this game. He bruised his knee, but he's supposedly good to go this game.
