I run several different HPLCs at work and we primarily process using the Agilent Chemstation software. I just set up a Dionex ICS-3000 and we use Chameleon 6.8 for this. We recently acquired some Metrohm compact ICs and I have been giving a deadline (2 days!) of figuring out how to process using IC Net 2.3.
Is there anyone on here that can help me? I don't think there is a way for me to figure this out in 2 days 9/9/2011 9:34:51 PM |

I printed out the manual (400+ pages). I have some specific issues that I cannot seem to find the answer to......The representative for my area feels that I should pay $texas and go to FL for training in a few weeks, but we need the instrument operational. ASAP. (It looks like I am taking it to Wyoming in 2 weeks.)
I was willing to pay an individual an hourly rate to tutor me.
On the plus side, I found an online forum that a Metrohm representative frequents. I am hoping that I might be able to get him to actually answer some questions. 9/9/2011 11:06:47 PM |

Yeah, maybe tech talk would have been slightly more appropriate. 9/10/2011 6:52:18 AM |

I have run several for the last 4 years, but all of ours are Chemstation for HPLC or Analyst for LC-MS/MS. I'm not familiar with those, but how different can they be? 9/10/2011 8:01:29 AM |

I'd take a look at the sperving bearings, that's where the biggest difference in terms of the performance. 9/10/2011 8:47:48 AM |

^Our rep quit and the vice president of sales is our rep in the interim. He NEVER answers his #)*(%&)%( e-mails....
I did post it here because I thought I would reach more chemists here that might use the program. It is a very different beast than both Chemstation and Chameleon 9/10/2011 3:38:44 PM |

Odds are, the most experience anyone has here is injecting a few samples, staring at conductivity, and scribbling down a few notes during one of their labs at centennial. 9/11/2011 9:20:05 AM |
