from 7 til about 630 out in cary (my polling place is in Raleigh)- and I don't get to "leave" for lunch
yeah, 10-12 hour work days 4 days a week- better money than I'm used to, but long days are long 10/10/2011 11:15:07 AM |

Isn't voting designated as an excused absence from work, kind of like jury duty? Meaning they have to allow you time off to vote... 10/10/2011 11:17:51 AM |

I just started this job- and they let me have 3 days off last week, and today for the wedding, and are letting me have a week off at the end of the month for my honeymoon- not trying to press my luck 10/10/2011 11:19:03 AM |

Yeah i. Just looked it up. NC has no law for allowing time off to vote 10/10/2011 11:21:06 AM |

So you couldn't get to the polling place right at 6:30 and get to the office by 7:00? It only takes like 5 seconds to vote in county elections since no one else shows up 10/10/2011 11:22:34 AM |
