Not bad, but I usually buy a jug of Mobil 1 at Walmart for $24 and then get a Purelator oil filter for $6 at Advance...and those are just their regular prices.

Lol. The gf and my cars take 8.5 and 10 respectively. I just buy multiple oil change specials and save the filter.

Also, usually these specials usually exclude cartrage filters, but if you ask they will let you take one.

Does this apply to the extended mileage (15,000 miles) oil? That is what I get. Screw changing every 5,000.

I use Mobil 1 and change at roughly 8k. Or 6 months. At least on my car, 5000 is the factory interval for dino oil, so I'm comfortable going farther on good synthetic.

So I saw this ad, and remembered it's oil change time. Seeing the prices, I went to walmart. They don't stock SAE5-40.
