I dunno. The car crash didn't really do anything to Emma. Has there been any indication that people die when they leave Storybrook, just that they fail in the attempt.

The kid got out ok, but then he's not from the fantasy world so the rules might not apply to him. Also, he didn't intend to stay gone from Storybrook. Intent might matter, if you always know you're coming back the curse'll let you go.

The kid explained it that the curse only works on those stuck in Storybrook. As he was brought there later in life, like Emma, he can come and go as he pleases. James was injured (put in a coma) trying to leave Storybrook, and Ruby had her baby in the woods after trying to leave, so bad things do happen.

You probably are, and just don't realize it: they are the original writers of the fairy tales. If you haven't read them, you should. The original fairy tales aren't all flowers and cupcakes like Disney has made them out to be.

Yeah, they're among the people who took the old stories that were being passed down around Germany (and I think France) and wrote them down. Their book is easily the most popular of the ones out there.

There's a fantasy movie that they made that's kinda sorta about them. It came out a few years ago. Don't watch it, it's terrible. It has some pretty moments, but on the whole it's really not worth seeing.

yeah, great episode... had lots of disney references (more than normal)

loved the chipped cup, as well as the clock and candlestick holder in the background....

liked the queen's "mermaid" reference at the end, and i think i saw mickey's wizard hat toward the end as well

clearly mr. gold knows all about the move to stoneybrook but the mayor only knows certain pieces maybe? how does she know who belle is but not mr. gold? or maybe she just wanted him to admit it? who's the blond chick and her fiance? I didn't recognize her at all. that was definitely mickeys wizard hat. this has definitely become my favorite show.

yeah i didn't remember cinderella either but my wife did. it has been a while since that episode.

my take on it is that the queen already knew but just wanted him to admit who he really was... that way, she knows that he also knows what is really going on. she knew that he would admit it in order to get the cup back, since it meant so much to him.
