Roommate moved out, he had the majority of furniture in the house. Fiancee and I are looking for these things:
A bar/counter height table with some form of storage underneath. We've found some local deals for around the $500-700 range but are looking to save a little bit of money. This is our top priority so of the things here this is what we're willing to spend the most money on. Expandable is always nice but not a necessity. Like this:
We also want to pick up some kind of couch for our living room. We don't plan on staying in my townhouse for "too long" so we just want to pick up some form of temporary couch. We've been looking for cheap/free on craigslist as we don't really spend much time in the living room and just want something people can sit on. Willing to spend more for a SMALL sectional with chaise lounger type thing but the problem is we don't want to get stuck with something that wouldn't work in our "next" house.
FINALLY, roommate moved out and it appears to have a bit of a bleach spill which ate up a chunk of the carpet in that room. We are looking into some cheap laminate flooring for the spare room instead of replacing the carpet. I think the room size is about 10x10 and we're looking at Lumber Liquidators and that Ollies place for some cheap flooring + underlayment, but I don't really know much on how to install and I'd probably just end up messing it up. Anything you might have here would be appreciated (info or materials). 11/3/2011 9:30:42 AM |

If that's coming with chairs that's a really good deal.11/3/2011 10:37:09 AM |

^^Don't think we'll go for tile. It's pretty much down to recarpeting the whole house or doing laminate in the one room, which is what is looking best for right now.
^Some of them do come with chairs...though I'm not sure the quality of wood in the tables as we really just walked around on our own. 11/3/2011 11:02:10 AM |

Go go real deal flooring for the laminate and the installer.
That's the best price I could find around when I compared similar products at similar places. 11/6/2011 8:58:08 PM |
