I hadn't even heard of this until I saw the thread. The first thing that came to mind: what, no dwarfs? Looked kinda silly to me. Maybe worth a viewing in a few years when the country music awards or some other lame award show is being broadcast and the other ota channels feel the need to show a movie to compete.

Also, I kept expecting Sam Flynn to show up and start destroying things with a frisbee.

^^Must have missed that. Re-watched and sure enough. I also noticed a pink navi floating around from time to time. It made me think of Sleeping Beauty, now they just need the blue and green navis.

Looks really good.

There's another Snow White in the making starring Julia Roberts as the evil queen and Lily Collins as Snow White. I think that one follows more of the Disney version, but a bit more edgy. Snow White overload!

^^Saving Private Ryan and The Thin Red Line are both good films, though, and fundamentally different to boot. The only real similarity is that they're ensemble cast war movies.

^ The non-Capote Capote movie was good, too, but you just can't run Dobby the House Elf against Philip Seymour Hoffman. Fun fact, Infamous started production at the same time as Capote; neither one was a copy of the other. It just so happened that both were too far along in production to turn back when they found out about the other.

I just saw this movie. I like this about 75 percent of the way through the movie... but then it felt like they changed directors and were told to finish the movie in 2 weeks. the ending was so ridiculously rushed and just felt horrible overall

oh, and bella ruins the end of the movie

Kristen Stewart ruined this movie for me. Why couldn't they use Anne hatheway or natalie portman?

So much potential, yet just left me going "meh".

The ending was horrid. Again ruined by the mouth breather kristen Stewart.

It was pretty lackluster, not bad just not noteworthy. I, too, had trouble believing Stewart was fairer than Theron. Emma Stone, Natalie Portman, or the girl from Gilmore Girls/Sin City would have been much more believable.

It'd be awesome if she parlayed this into an action movie role just to avoid that sort of typecasting. We commented in the film that she hardly did any fighting after bothering to get laced up in that armor.
