A thread to post our resolutions and keep everyone accountable throughout the year.

My three resolutions for this year:

1) Snack healthier. I do a good job of eating healthy meals but my snacking choices generally suck. I need to be better about bringing in veggie sticks, etc, to work to snack on rather than always reaching for a granola bar or something.

2) Become a jogger. I no longer have a bicycle and I don't foresee having money for one anytime soon. I want to start jogging to make up for no longer biking to work. I've heard Runkeeper is a good app for building running endurance.

3) Keep in better touch with people. I'm bad about communication with distant friends, especially my overseas friends. I want to be better about sending them an email every once in awhile to see what's going on in their lives.

I already started my new year's resolutions before new years cause I never really stick to them anyway. So I figured, no time like the present. My main one was weight loss + being more active. Which I started in the spring. So far I am down 20lbs. I just started doing insanity and will keep working out after that, obviously. I hope to lose another 10lbs and then stay in shape (includes eating healthier, which I've been attempting to do, too).

Next goal is probably self-esteem. I need to work on my self-esteem. YAY SELF.

And positivity. I need to be MORE POSITIVE about everything, I guess. Though overly positive people really irritate me. I guess I should stop letting that show so much and be more positive about being positive

And then being happy w/ where I am in life in general. Which I've made some adjustments over the last few months (re: job, relationships, etc) that have started me on that path. So just need to keep that up in the new year.

Yay 2012!

I've kept the very last resolution I ever made, about 10 years ago.

Don't make new years resolutions.
