Haunted Cabin movie from Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard. They finished filming a few years ago but the movie has been delayed due to 3d conversion bullshit and MGM going under. The trailer was released today.

Based on the trailer it's either going to be awesome or terrible. I'll give Whedon the benefit of the doubt though.

I want to see it, but I am also concerned my $8 will be spent on a run of the mill scary hot chick running away type flick. Despite the obvious cast, I like the twist. I think, or hope, that Whedon chose the typical scary movie cast lineup (hot chicks, dumb jock, stoner, one ethnic looking guy) just so that the jaded viewer with preconceived ideas of how it plays out will be in for an unexpected surprise. hopefully

This is one of those movies where I'd like to read the whole summary on wikipedia before I decide to watch it. Then I searched on wikipedia and it doesn't really give a summary. So I'll just wait for that.

I've always liked the song in the background of the trailer...that said, I won't be seeing this.

^yea, they are trying to pull a certain audience in with the set and theme

it could be awesome in the ridiculously unrealistic/funny way (snakes on a plane type thing), it could actually be a very good movie and well written script (I have my doubts), or it could be a horrible movie that doesn't even have any explosions (anyone remember boogeyman? POS)
