it has the expansion pack "the art of conquest" which adds different units and another "age" or whatever they call it... space battles can happen now.

I do not see how one can actually make it from caveman to modern era. If you are playing to win, at some point your enemies should get wiped out.

I typically play on a giant map and play pretty defensively most of the game and then once i get to the last era I nuke them and use the flying robots to zap the enemy into oblivion.

i have a problem where sometimes my expansion stops and it's hard to finish the job because i'm at my limit as far as units and whatnot.
