Have a zebra s4m i need to get connect to a female parallel port on a pc. Having trouble finding adapters. Here is the back of the s4m

Why not connect it via the USB port, or, even better, put it on the network?

It might be an old PC without USB ports, possibly even without support for USB.

Old zebra bar one software. It only recognizes serial and parallel connections. Zebra stopped supporting it in 1998. The company has all their templates made in it and would require complete rework for zebra labelmaker.

i don't understand. are you connecting it to a *parallel port* on a PC, or a 25-pin serial port on a PC?

So they made hardware with USB, serial and ethernet connectivity, but their software only supports parallel and serial?

that's weird...
