I'm selling a used first-generation PlayStation 3. It's the 60-gig model with hardware PS2 backwards compatibility, flash card readers, 4 USB slots, and wireless NIC.
I've replaced the 60-gig HDD with a 160-gig drive. I've formatted the disk and restored the console to factory settings.
In addition to the console, I'm including the power cable, SIXAXIS controller, and USB cord.
Full disclosure: I bought this system refurbished in 2008. This past week, I suffered the yellow light of death. I've successfully reflowed the system and can confirm that it's working normally, but this console is a ticking time bomb. It will eventually need to be reflowed again, and you can only reflow the motherboard so many times before it needs to be replaced.
I reflowed using the heat gun method rather than baking the whole stupid thing in the oven, and I applied higher quality thermal grease, so I'm pretty confident that the console will operate just fine for a good, long time, especially if you keep it cool.
If the worst should happen and you can't reflow the board anymore, the Blu-Ray drive itself can be parted out for $30.00, and Sony can repair or replace the unit for $150.00.
PM me with your offers, but post any questions you have here. I'd obviously like to get cash, but I'm interested in trades as well (especially PS3 or 360 games).
