If you want to hear samples of all the songs on Sharon van Etten's Tramp, go into i-tunes, change your country to 'united kingdom' and search for it.

It sounds like a pretty downbeat affair, which I'm fine with. I like "Serpents", but I wouldn't want an entire album of it.

I don't like overly pretentious hipsters associated with gayngs who have gotten too big for their britches. Honestly, when I listened to it, it didn't sound terrible albeit sounding like the songs were written in five minutes by someone who doesn't necessarily understand the rudiments of song composure. But when I saw the gayngs label attached, I completely eyerolled. It's the opposite of people guilty of liking bands BECAUSE they're friends with them, despite any musical ability to dictate otherwise. I don't really see a problem with that, or not liking a band because of their associations, honestly.

Tell me how I'm ignorant of their ensemble tho. Watched a couple videos with her, a mouse and a microphone.

But it's not just one person with a mouse an microphone...I don't know what you're complaining about. Lots of bands use laptops now. It's a legitimate tool.

pretty awesome to see Blake with some of these guys. I'm not even a fan of all the bands but it's cool that he got invited to sign at a booth with all of them. (Dillinger escape plane, deftones, system of a down, and anthrax).



Anyway, hope the new btbam album (I'm guessing another EP? I dono yet) is as solid as the last EP. And on a similar note, Tommy (btbam vocalist) just put out another side project album with NC native Jake Troth. There are some pretty interesting things on there. A lot of well written, electronic-driven pop. I like the new arrangement of Shoes Off as it was always one of my favorite songs from Jake.
