Meat protein is considered a "complete" protein because it contains all the essential amino acids for cellular reproduction (or building muscle, if you will). The only vegetable that can claim the same rights is the soybean. However you can combine rice and beans to make a complete protein, while avoiding the saturated fat often accompanying animal protein...
