My business, Interior Eye Candy, is running a winter special and offering interior house painting as low as $50 a room. Whether one room or the complete house, we can give a fresh new look at a budget price. Experienced, quality work with excellent references. Moving out or renting a space? We cater to homeowners, realtors and renters alike to refresh a vacancy or move out/in. You supply the paint. We do the rest!

You supply the paint. We have the rest. Unless it's a form of white, matching up paint hardly ever matches 100%. We'll paint a popcorn ceiling for the right price. Honestly, they are horrific to work with.

10 to 15 a room to tack on trim? does that include cutting/coping/mitering as needed? /me jsut got most of the way done with re-sheet rocking a room, inc ceiling, mudding, priming 4X coats worth, painting 3 different colors, and installing crown molding

im assuming he just meant repainting trim...

Depending on how it was finished before you really don't need to do much sanding if you are just going to paint the furniture, especially if it isn't really nicked up and you are trying to smooth out the surface because of that or something. A minimum of two coats of spray primer (preferably 3-4 thin coats) and a few coats of spray paint (depending on the color and the color of the primer) will do the trick.

Don't skip the sanding entirely, but you can definitely get a good enough finish with minimal sanding as long as you prime well and use good quality primer and paint.

Yes, I did mean just re-painting the trim. And that's solid advice on painting the furniture. It's easy and you can make it look good yourself.

I started doing the furniture myself and it bubbled because of the weather and I don't have time to figure it out.

Hey look, your true colors.

Maybe you should rename this thread "Unprofessional and Non-responsive paint service offers too-good to be true deal. Inquire within, but you'll get no response and a bitchy owner."

Oh look what google found:

this fucker couldn't even give me a straight answer about painting popcorn ceilings... only a nebulous response of "for the right price"

lost my business right then and there.

Dang! Now my feelings are getting hurt! Where's my towel?
Ok, for "realz".....I probably could've been a little more customer service oriented when I said the "Fuck off" statement. I'm sorry about that. My emotions got the best of me! I'm ashamed and will seek treatment for my outbursts.
It kinda got started when I got a couple of nasty messages from you folks stating that my business must suck because of my untimely wolfweb response message PM/thread kinda thing.
Oops. Sorry again. I love TWW but I tend to forget i use it sometimes. Stupid. I mean, you know after posting an ad here and everything. I guess I'm still a NOOB.
I don't have 82,271 posts. I'll try to work on that.
I did get 2 gigs out of this free pub and a possible 3rd doing a commercial building. All it took was a PM and a number. Not a thread question.
And pictures as a reference are crap. 80% of the stuff we do is neutral color "let's sell the place and paint it for the masses" type of shit. So I could take picures all week long and they would all look the same. And color pics take staged lighting to really do them justice...paying $300 doesn't get you that. That's why we have references.
As far as that CL complaint...I love it....He was my client named Twan (or brandon)....He tried to use a communication gap to spare himself a home improvement bill. Didn't work.
Peace and Love.

3rd request?

Uh....How will I know how to quote that? By the foot? By the width of the trim? Is it flat or is it sculpured trim? Are the windows considered trim? If so how many? Is the trimwork baseboard/windows/ceiling molding?

This is why I say pm me and give me details.

I think i just explained that.

first off smartasses, i asked because that price (10-15) was quoted in addition to doing wall paint, i just needed trim paint only, so I figured there was a price differential if I wasn't paying at least $50 for a room.

next, it is only baseboards, but you do seem true to the complaints and are a shitty salesman as I genuinely wanted to hire you but your bullshit unprofessional responses definitely lost you a job.

you can take your "business" and shove it up your ass. buy an ad and quit posting dumb threads like this in classifieds. leave it to people who actually want to do real business.

^ Ouch! That stings! I mean with the whole "shove it up my ass" and everything!

So now it's just "baseboard"? That's different than "trim work". You could have easily just PM'd me and stated what the project was.

If it's baseboard just do it yourself. Somebody will charge you an outrageous amount to come out and do that.

It's a job that will require you to get down on your knees for an extended period of time. Sounds like you might know how to do that though!

If you need a job, let me know!
