More pictures in my gallery

Service for 6 with three sizes of plates, rimmed bowls, dipping bowls, saucers and teacups (there are 6 teacups, I didn't get them all out for the pictures). Serving platter, bowl, lidded bowl, creamer, and sugar included. Silver edges, delicate pattern on the rims. They've been used once or twice (and not everything has been used). The plates are bone white china with a gray design. Same as the one at this link:

Don't know what to start the bidding at, but if I can't get more than $50 I will convince the boy these are our new everyday dishes.

ITT no one wants fine china from Bavaria? They know how to make good shit in that part of Germany. It's where BMWs and Johann Haviland china come from.

Getting people on TWW to appreciate bone china is going to be a tough sell. If I already didnt have our 12 place setting from our wedding, I'd jump on it.

a lot of it probably has to do with the style

In other words, not knocking the quality of the dishes at all, but it's like that big hand-carved mahogany with leaded glass china cabinet a grandma has: very nice quality but not something that many young people care about having in their house these days.

Dishes like these are just harder to sell because it's hard to re-purpose or modernize them like you can furniture.

That's why I put it on craigslist too. Planning on using it as our everyday dishes at this point, just have to find some bigger bowls to go with them.
