The old thread was very dead, and was really lacking in any valuable information anyways.

The trailer is out!

Things that I like about it:

1) The main villain is The Lizard.
2) Gwen Stacy looks to be the main love interest.
3) Spider-Man appears to have more one liners/puns/witty jokes.

Things I don't like:
They rebooted Spider-Man when we've had three Spider-Man movies in the past decade.

I hated the obligatory "yaaahoooooooo" while swinging between sky scrapers.

Emma Stone > Kirsten Dunst.

I like Andrew Garfield as well.

I'm down. I like the one-liners, the fluency of the movements, and the inclusion of Emma Stone; she's fun to watch on screen. Denis Leary was surprising

I liked it... but I couldn't help but draw comparisons between this movie and the first one with Toby.

the school scene, the family dinner scene, that one guy even looked like willem dafoe, flying between buildings and yelling, etc....

too soon in my opinion.

my guess is that at the end his gadgets fail him and he has to rely on his wits

I'm thinking Luke from modern family when they remake this again in 2019.
