Duchess lived in my condo complex used to talk to her at the pool.
Chicken head lived there too, was at her place once or twice
Saps used to talk to occasionally at the bar
Big blue ram shared a dorm hall with at UNC-W for a summer in high school
Ambrosia met thru mutual friend.

I have literally only met about 10 people from tww and half of them are dead. That's creepy

Oh true. That's like an extra 5 or so people.

Bootlegger also. He was friends with a lot of my friends so I had gotten to know him shortly before that wreck. I went to his funeral it was quite sad.

Look, if you needed to know who was dead or alive you'd know. Nobody can know how or why people die. OK?

In general if anyone dies in their 30s and it isn't an accident or an accident caused by stupidity it's drugs or suicide. Therefore, none of your damn business.

I met Stiletto once...he had come to Wolf Village to sell something to a person he knew on TWW, and I was outside smoking a cigarette. We got into a conversation (which is how I learned his screen name) and he struck me as a hell of a nice, genuine guy. RIP Frank, good-hearted, worthy sir.

If something is "none of your business" then why bring it up vaguely on the internet. People are going to inquire. Don't put their shit out there for the world in the first place if it's private.

^Yeah there's really no need to be sanctimonious about it especially when the stories have all been posted on TWW previously. Not like they're any guarded secret.

So you can't say RIP without being required to divulge how the dead died?

Do you also send angry letters expressing this same sentiment to the obituary columns who also don't usually divulge that information?

[Edited on July 24, 2017 at 11:35 PM. Reason : People can inquire all they want. Doesn't mean they're owed an answer.]

I met ambrosia, saps, and BigBlueRam a couple of times at tww meetups. saps was always friendly and fun to talk to, as was BigBlueRam.

I hung out with Chickenhead pretty regularly; her death really did a number on me. Occasionally the android voice recognition on my phone randomly activates and asks me if I wanted to dial Emily, and it makes me sad every time.

AntiJester doesn't fit any of those criteria, as far as I know. He wasn't in his 30s, it wasn't an accident, he wasn't stupid, and my understanding is that it was neither drugs nor suicide. I'm not going to speak on it, because I don't know for certain and don't want to be an idiot speculating on the nature of someone's death.

Like you are, just now.

Do you get it? Saying it's "none of your damn business" leaves the door wide open for morons to speculate hurtfully about the nature of someone's death.

Fuck off with that garbage attitude about what anyone's business is. That includes you, too, synapse and bottombaby. Anyone with a fond memory of the dead has a right to know. And anyone who knows has a right to not say, if they think that's best for whatever reason. But don't get it twisted. That doesn't make it "none of your damn business."

and holy shit eleusis take the dead people out of your phone already

I think his cell phone number has been given to someone else, because I got a notification saying that he has a new account on snapchat, or something like that, and when I looked at it the username was definitely not him.

Seeing that hit me.

Just typing this out hit me. I really hate that he is gone.

Nope.

"Dude bought me a drink one night at Champions AND let me have the break. That was super nice of him and it's a fond memory of the dead so I have a right to know how he died"

His closest friends have a right to know, if anyone outside of immediate family.

Quote :

The only way to close that door is to tell those morons sensitive information that's none of their damn business. That door is open regardless.

Obviously. That's a right people in the know have been exercising in unison in the last decade+ or however long we've had deceased tdubbers who died in questionable circumstances

Teddy sniffing glue he was 12 years old
Fell from the roof on East Two-nine
Cathy was 11 when she pulled the plug
On 26 reds and a bottle of wine
Bobby got leukemia, 14 years old
He looked like 65 when he died
He was a friend of mine
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
They were all my friends, and they died
G-berg and Georgie let their gimmicks go rotten
So they died of hepatitis in upper Manhattan
Sly in Vietnam took a bullet in the head
Bobby OD'd on Drano on the night that he was wed
They were two more friends of mine
Two more friends that died / I miss 'em--they died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
They were all my friends, and they died
Mary took a dry dive from a hotel room
Bobby hung himself from a cell in the tombs
Judy jumped in front of a subway train
Eddie got slit in the jugular vein
And Eddie, I miss you more than all the others,
And I salute you brother/ This song is for you my brother
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
They were all my friends, and they died
Herbie pushed Tony from the Boys' Club roof
Tony thought that his rage was just some goof
But Herbie sure gave Tony some bitchen proof
"Hey, " Herbie said, "Tony, can you fly?"
But Tony couldn't fly, Tony died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
They were all my friends, and they died
Brian got busted on a narco rap
He beat the rap by rattin' on some bikers
He said, hey, I know it's dangerous,
But it sure beats Riker's
But the next day he got offed
By the very same bikers
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
Those are people who died, died
They were all my friends, and they died

If you're looking at a distribution of people who die of congenital deaths, most shake themselves out by 30 and cancer/heart disease presents later. Of course there are exceptions, but odds are it's an accident or something embarrassing.

I met Stiletto when we both joined the ballroom dance team. We were partners here and there and spent a lot of time together practicing, traveling to competitions, sleeping on strange dorm floors at Columbia University. He put himself out there to make friends and be a part of something.

One time I was drunk on the wolfline alone and he got on and saw me and made sure I got to my apt safely.

We was always such a friendly face you'd see randomly, like behind the counter at Cup-A-Joe's.
