Boston Acoustics Media Theater 2.1, bitches. 1998 Represent.

They still sound just fine, actually. (Damn things were expensive when new, added something like $150 to the price of the PC)

You can post it, I'd love to see it. I don't see why people get so offended or upset when someone posts info on things they own. Half the people analyze the shit out of it, when it was just posted to be humorous or interesting to others.

I am running PowerDVD 11 Ultra using the analog outputs of my sound card to SACD/DVDA inputs on the receiver which are simple analog inputs using PCM. However 5 of these inputs can create 5.1 LPCM DTS-MA, while running optical would compress the signal due to smaller bandwidth. I am basically bypassing the DSP on the Onkyo and using it's amps while leaving the DSP to the Auzentech X-Fi Prelude. I have been very satisfied with how all of this has worked out for only $170 for Receiver/Center/Sides.

Whenever I upgrade my FP241W BenQ I will probably go to a 32" IPS or a 42" OLED. I have the sides mounted on the wall now about 6 feet from the floor on equal sides of the center. I admit the channel separation is now much better.

^ Very nice

Eventually they will be on angled shelves after I make them. For the record the Lenny Kravitz thing is not mine and I just now realized it after taking that picture haha.

^^I mounted my home theater speakers pretty high. I know the left/right channels are supposed to go lower but they're pointed directly at the listener and adjusted for distance.

Those on the other hand need to be pointed down. The cones are facing the opposite walls. heh.
