I bought a long VGA male-to-male cable to connect my laptop to my PC but silly me just found out I don't even have a VGA connection on my HDTV, I only have components, HDMI, and composites.

I'd hate for the VGA cable to go to waste since I spent $$ on it. Is there a converter made to go from VGA-female to Component so I can hook this up to the end of my long VGA cable? Anyone know where I could get one at?

Is there any video loss going from VGA to Component? Thanks.

Google vga to component

There's a lot of conversion cables.

Looks like you can go from vga to component fairly easily. Probably not the other way.

that link says "Not For Computer Use"

remind me again since the OP is confusing, you're trying to connect your laptop to your television, or to your PC?
