I'm kinda pumped about this movie. Looks like Denzel from "Training Day." Not ashamed to admit I'm a big Ryan Reynolds fan as well. Should be entertaining.

my first impression of this movie (trailer) was The Bourne Identity starring Denzel Washington as Jason Bourne

but I liked the Bourne movies, so I'd watch this

None of the roles I've seen her in since The Departed would even remotely make sense for a 25 year old model type like you're suggesting.

I'm with jbrick. She's just attractive enough to still hold our attention without detracting from the movie, a la Maggie Gylenhall. But I'm there to see the movie for Denzel and Reynolds, so any female lead is tertiary, meaning I'd much prefer something pretty to look at than someone who's kicking 40's door down.

But back on topic, yeah, I'll check this out. Not much else to do on a cold and rainy February weekend anyway.

Really good movie. Consistent action throughout.

It will certainly have it's critics that say the "twists" were too predictable, but the action scenes more than make up for it.

Denzel was terrific (no surprise), but I was really impressed with Ryan Reynolds.

I was actually in Cape Town, SA when this movie was being filmed (in spring of '11) and ran into Vera Farmiga (the chick in this movie and the departed) while at dinner. She is incredibly smokin' hot in person.

I saw it. Don't build it up for yourself. it is a good movie, but don't expect too much. the action scenes hide all the details with shaky camerawork as usual. the plot is missing some character building that I would have liked more of.

Definitely worth seeing and there are some cool allusions to actual events.

I was expecting this to be one of those things where Frost was some ungodly skilled agent that is untouchable and can escape anything, like Jason Bourne or Tom Cruise from Collateral. I was happy that it wasn't like that. He was still a badass but not that badass.

The constant shaky cam and pointless jump cuts, the awful performances from Dakota Fanning and Marc Anthony, the cringe worthy dialogue (I'm pretty sure Denzel says "Nunya Business" at one point), and the fact that Denzel sticks a bomb up some dude's butt.
