I'll start.

Police in this country obviously need less scrutiny. They wouldn't be serving if they weren't genuinely commuted to making our nation a safer place.

Life starts at conception. Once that DNA zips together, 'at's a person. He/she should have all the rights that every other person has. You can't deny his/her rights just because he/she is one cell and you're a few trillion. It's like saying I have more rights because I'm taller than you.

We should go to the gold standard. Gold is money. I mean, look at it.

come you can be honest. you want to beat some white male cops so badly it stings.

and those of us that actually live in reality are reminded of something too:

we really think it would be cool if al qaeda / syria / hamas had access to nuclear arms.

that would be a really fun problem to solve.

^he's just pissy right now b/c he knows...

Holy crap I can't even troll this shit. Ok ok, keep a level head. You're a frog after all.

Why have we not invaded the West Bank yet? I mean, think about it. No one has asked the question. You have to wonder why. We keep invading all these places that got no place to go when we're done. That's why we should start around Israel and work our way out. Then when we're done, we can let them administer it. I hear they're good at that.

If there's anything we don't do enough, it's asking questions. Have you ever noticed how liberals don't ask questions? Ever wonder why? Don't believe me, just think about it. It's like a puzzle. A... Soros puzzle, if you will. The pieces are all there. Do they connect? Well obviously they do. But the media! That's why the media has to work so hard to keep you from putting the whole picture together.

Government health care is the first step to the government taking over your life.

If you're an American who looks around and can only see jobs you can't get and bills you can't pay, know this: you have not failed. Your president has failed you.

I'll try some responses...

First, HFCS is not something that people would willingly chug down per se but is rather a food additive that "comes with the territory" of some food products; besides, the liberal push to ban it IIRC is on the manufacturers, while they're okay with the occasional idiot seeking out HFCS.

An individual mandate to purchase health insurance has no direct bearing on what procedures may or may not be performed and what drugs may or may not be taken, so it's not a case of government butting into a person's body; furthermore the mandate in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act does not specify any particular provider, and the way it's implemented even allows people to get out of compliance with maybe an unenforceable fine.

Finally, and most importantly, if a 13-year-old gets pregnant, an abortion is unquestionably the right choice; the problem would be some widespread encouragement for pregnant teens to actually try to raise whatever kids they get pregnant with.

Let me start by saying how evil the engineers of capitalism were: I mean for gods sakes they started by assuming #1 that human beings have the ability to independently think and generally care for their neighbors and didn't need a king or 'enlightened executive govt' ramming law after law down their throats

SUCH FUCKING BULLSHIT. WE CANNOT ALLOW THIS.

We all know that societies segregate into smaller factions (just look at china town, bronx, west raleigh vs east raleigh... durham vs cary.. etc etc etc) and they become inherently evil and chaotic. Just look at all the wars and fighting.

This should be fixed by government. It's the only way to make us a peaceful happy society. We need to force legislation by executive order to make white people mix with black people more and share their money. The bankers and rich of our society shouldn't be allowed to use their knowledge of the system to make money like they do.

It's horrible. just horrible.

I want to leave this country and join true freedom like that in...... umm.. hang on i'll find a perfect government that will take care of me soon enough.

http://seekingalpha.com/instablog/926530-stock_creeper/355421-daily-view-ron-paul-the-loser-liberalism-is-a-mental-disorder-romney-is-not-out-of-touch

I agree with everything written here.

Quote :
"Daily View: Ron Paul The Loser, Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder, Romney is Not Out of Touch

Romney will win Arizona and Ron Paul will finish 4th. Maybe in a democratic primary he would place higher. It helps to be a real conservative when you're in a republican primary, but that didn't stop millions of basement dwelling potheads from forgoing thier welfare checks and donating money. Ron Paul the candidate, like his policies, represent failure, so it's no surprise he's failed to win a single state. That won't stop the paultards from blaming the right vast wing media conspiracy, voter fraud, racism, sexism, and black helicopters for stealing the millions of votes Ron Paul would have needed to win all the primaries.

If you cannot accept reality then you are deluded, which applies to overwhelming majority of financial bloggers, especially the rapaciously liberal Peter Shift. Like Jar-Jar Blinks aka El Erian, he keeps predicting crisis and keep being wrong.

The reality:

the economy is still fundamentally sound

Greece is not a big deal

national debt not a big deal

G.W. Bush, not Obama, rescued the economy

stocks are undervalued

stocks will keep going up

Bernanke is competent

TARP was a resounding success

QE2 & 3 were successes

no deflation or hyperinflation

Ron Paul was never a viable candidate

pain at the pump WONT derail the economy

bad economic data isn't necessarily recessionary

you can print your way to recovery"

when i drive through charlotte and look at the homeless it makes me happy to see my tax dollars taking such great care of them.

i mean if the government didnt they would probably just charge my car in an angry mob and tear me to shreds.

im glad the money taken involuntarily from my paycheck allows me to disconnect my conscience.

The Bible is clearly true and the world reflects God's truth. Life is just too complex to have happened by random chance. It takes just as much faith to be an atheist as it does to be a Christian. And since evolution is only a theory it should be taught along other equally valid theories like creationism.

I do not feel dirty writing this not-garbage.

Why should we punish people for being good at what they do? If taxes are too high, nobody will ever do anything great because all imagination and creativity are fueled by the persuit of money.

If Iran gets a nuclear weapon they will certainly use it on Israel. We can't let a nation wreckless as Iran get a nuclear weapon. Look at their track record!

Ron Paul has such a wild and extreme foreign policy, but other than that he's not so bad.

Our debt and economy could all be solved if we just got rid of illegal immigration and changed the language to english.

Special thanks to all the soldiers who are fighting right now so we can have the chance to be here, free, on the internet.

Certain groups deserve special privileges in this country because they are born with different DNA from others.

if you are born with more money than another you have an unfair advantage and the job of the government should be to take money from the people who worked for that and take it away from them to give to the others

My grandfather's social environment obviously has nothing to do with my current welfare, education, or ability to get a good job.

It's not like I went to college because it was an accepted thing to do in my family, and it's not like my parents encouragement had anything to do with my success in school. I would be exactly where I am now if I didn't have the family and social network to aid me along.

This is why the government has no obligation to groups currently poor. How well-off you are doesn't have anything to do with how well-off your group has been in the past.

I mean, it resets every 30 years or so. Beyond that history doesn't matter.

Legalization and regulation of all illegal drugs would wipe out all the problems associated with drugs. That's why prescription drugs are so rarely abused or tied to social ills and crime.

Criminals could be reformed with therapy and hugs. There's no such thing as an inherently bad person. Those guys in Connecticut who did the home invasion/rape/murder weren't evil, they just had troubled home lives, so we should forgive them and move past their transgressions.

You have to understand that the Constitution is absolutely sacrosanct. Well, the parts that let Nazis rally in Jewish neighborhoods and say that police can't look at you cross-eyed without an act of Congress and prohibit reference to any and all religious points in public are. The parts about guns and state and individual rights are...metaphorical.

I get that the concept of "when life begins" is difficult, but it loses sight of the most important thing: this baby would seriously but a cramp in my social life. I mean, I'd offer it for adoption, but think of the stretch marks or C-section scars. What man would have me then?

The capitalist system fucking disgusts me. It robs you of most of the value of your labor and gives it to other people who had nothing to do with it. This is as opposed to socialism, which...I'm sorry, I can't even do that one with a straight face.

Disagree

We should definitely stigmatize people who need help. Particularly drug crimes.

Before anyone comments on socialism, they should read Das Kapital in its entirety. In the original German. Otherwise their statements don't warrant a response.

Abstinence-only education is effective, period. Teaching kids how to use condoms and contraceptives is like commanding them to have sex, an activity which might not otherwise have occurred to them.

A 17 year old can't be trusted to vote or buy beer, however he can and must be trusted to plan his entire life. That's why I have no pity for people who end up poor. They should have done better in school and chosen better friends back during the period between shitting their pants and being permitted to drive (but only during daylight hours and with adult supervision because, again, they aren't intelligent enough to make good choices except for the enormous good choices that they must be expected to make).

The actions of a few do not represent the whole, except when they do, as in the cases of police and the military. In those instances a bad apple is a perfect microcosm of the whole barrel.
