Like W, I thought in the end that it actually made the person more sympathetic. In this case, Palin was clearly not ready for the celebrity of national politics (as most people wouldn't) and lived in an Alaskan bubble that allowed her to become Governor without knowing the most basic foreign policy issues. It's also not clear if anyone stood a chance against Obama and his campaign anyway. Biggest surprise: how much they shit on Fox News and the media as a whole. At no point did it look like the Republican campaigns we are seeing now.

Wow, it must be really bad given the obvious liberal slant of this movie.

that's the thing, what i'm talking about is the Republican campaign of John McCain's view of Fox News. They hated them as much as the liberals. The basis of the movie is Steve Schmidt's perspective pretty much so it's not a liberal slant at all.

I don't see how showing someone is incompetent somehow makes them sympathetic
