Slave Famous only plays in NL-only leagues with 24 teams and 45 bench spots

even without starters, there are not enough players on NL 40-man rosters to fill those 45 bench spots.

This year ill share my list of guys i think will outperform their draft spot(some of these guys arent wven drafted in 10-12 team leagues)

Late round guys i like this year:
Lorenzo cain
Henderson Alvarez
Lucas duda
Jason kipnis
Andrew cashner
John mayberry jr
Matt gamel
Mike aviles
Mike Minor

for deep leagues where people draft bryce harper, mike trout etc
Billy hamilton
Brett Jackson

That is all

I want to make a trade to get Mike Moustakas. I would like to offer Mark Teixeira. Obviously I need something else back in return, so what seems fair? I like Freddie Freeman, but I don't know that anybody else besides Asdrubal would be a legit upgrade, and I don't think he'd part with him unless I threw in Alexei too.

his team:

C - Buster Posey
1B - Freddie Freeman
2B - Dustin Pedroia
3B - Evan Longoria
SS - Asdrubal Cabrera
OF - Justin Upton
OF - Drew Stubbs
OF - Logan Morrison
Util - Emilio Bonifacio
BN - Nick Markakis
BN - Dexter Fowler
BN - Mike Moustakas
BN - Brennan Boesch

and mine:

C - Miguel Montero
1B - Adrian Gonzalez
2B - Ben Zobrist
3B - Ryan Zimmerman
SS - Alexei Ramirez
OF - Jay Bruce
OF - Shane Victorino
OF - B.J. Upton
Util - Mark Teixeira
BN - Ichiro Suzuki
BN - Adam Lind
BN - Lorenzo Cain
BN - Kelly Johnson

jesus christ dude, i know youre a royals fan but you want to give up a top-10 1b in a top-5 hitting offense for a homer pick who hasnt proved anything in the league

stick with tex at utility

[Edited on April 3, 2012 at 12:06 AM. Reason : Ryan Zimmerman > Mustache]

you could name the team Asdrubal's Ass Dribble or something like that

i'd go with something like Pedroida Rage

oh yeah

how about Suzuki BJ's Upton

also I got Ichiro at the 90th pick, I think he finishes the year as a top-50 fantasy player, easily bats over .300

I need some help. 8 team keeper league and I made some killer trades last year. Problem is, I only get to keep five guys. Here is who I was planning on keeping and tell me if I should swap anyone.

KEEP
Albert Pujols
Matt Kemp
Troy Tulowitzki
Cliff Lee
Clayton Kershaw

RELEASE
Jacoby Ellsbury
Carl Crawford
Brian McCann
David Price
Roy Oswalt
Tommy Hanson
etc.

I'm wondering if I should swap Ellsbury for Lee or Kershaw, but like having two stud pitchers. Thoughts?

Kershaw is possibly going to be the best pitcher in baseball for the next 5-10 years. No way you let him go. You keep him over Lee.

IDK man it depends on if your league is pitching or hitting heavy, but I would easily keep Kershaw and Price over Lee. Lee has 1/2 good seasons left at most. Ellsbury's one career year shouldn't cause you to keep him over stud pitchers unless SBs are that heavily weighed.

would there be any interest in like a $5 or so league that would draft at around 8 or so tonight? Just like 8 or so teams? Didn't get in a money league this year, and I know it is very small stakes, but it would be something. Figure it is too late, and there won't be much interest, but I posted anyway.

Pick up Peavy if your league if full of children or idiots.

<-----This guy did. 3 hit shutout tonight. Looks like he may be back to his old self.

I have Neftali and debating cutting him to get Oswalt

Supposedly he is out til the Allstar break, then might be back in the bullpen when he gets back.

I'm so glad I decided to be a homer and draft Jason Kipnis as my starting 2B, kid is awesome

I am still waiting for Adrian Gonzalez and Hanley to start hitting some. I also took a risk on Lawrie (no pop yet) and Mauer so those have not worked out well. Oh well, another season of disappointment.

in case anybody didn't know (like i didn't until today), Utley is back...homered his first MLB at bat this season on Wednesday and went 3/5 with a couple singles...didn't play today (Thursday)...still, good to see him back and being productive, if limited to start...I drafted him with the 183rd overall pick, hoping for that late season production
