So the Miata is officially for Sale! Its a sad day but I am moving to CA and it will not pass SMOG out there. Stupid California.

1999 Mazda Miata 10th Anniversary Edition with hard top painted to match

Just at 100k miles

Modifications:

XIDA-S coilovers from 949racing - Spring rates are 700in/lbs front 400in/lbs rear
http://949racing.com/xida-scoiloversmiata.aspx
Maxim Racing 4-2-1 Headers - These are some of the best crafted headers I have ever seen
FM 2.25in Mid-Pipe with resonator and high flow cat
Racing Beat Power-Pulse Cat-Back Exhaust
FIDANZA Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel
EXEDY Stock Replacement Clutch replaced at around 86k miles
Racing Beat 1.25" tubular front sway bar and frame mount point reinforcement kit
Hard Dog M2 Sport Roll Bar - Previous owner had it professionally installed works with hard top and soft top.

FM Frame Rails - Not installed

The car also comes with two wheel packages.
15x8 6uls wrapped in 225/50/15 toyo proxy 4s. Tires are almost brand new wheels could use repainting
15x9 6uls wrapped in 225/45/15 Hankook z214 c71 they are about a year or two old and have only 4 or 5 auto-xs on them. Wheels are in pretty much prefect condition.

The Bad

The door speakers have gone bad. I replaced the passenger side door panel with a custom panel. I removed the soft top, but I still have it and it is great condition just might need a new rain rail

Maintaince the car is under going before sale:

Softtop is being reinstalled
Passenger side door is being returned to stock
Speakers are being replace
Timing Belt & Water Pump are being replaced

Car Comes with all the stock peices except the wheels and suspension.

I am asking $12,500 for everything.

you only have 3 potentially smog-failing mods. just get rid of them and take the car with you

In CA, any aftermarket part has to have a CARB compliant tag, or it fails the visual part of the SMOG test.

Not that it's not a nice car, but that's a steep asking price, isn't it?

Not sure which is more of a surprise, an 8k offer or that it was declined...

Yea, no one in their right mind is going to pay anything close to what you want for this thing.

Part it out or cut the price in half.

And no one is going to pay $2,000 for a hardtop. Hell, I got mine for $500

...and I paid just over half of that for a Miata with a built engine (forged everything, headwork, etc), FMII turbo setup (nearly 250 rwhp), new canvas top, Wilwood brakes, full aftermarket suspension, aftermarket wheels, Torsen rear, MB Quart stereo, ACT clutch, Hard Dog M2 roll bar, a couple of spare transmissions, etc

Shit, does a MSM even bring that kind of price? Maybe with coilovers and a hardtop...

A garden-variety NB with some bolt-ons? No fucking way.
