Going to be produced by Brian Fargo, founder of Interplay and producer of Wasteland AND Fallout (spiritual successor to Wasteland).

He said he would produce it if his kickstarter got over 900,000. It passed that in a couple of days and is now up to 1.7 million.

If he gets 2.1 million the game will be co-developed by Obsidian entertainment, a group founded by ex Black Isle (Fallout, Planescape Torment, Icewind Dale) employees who most recently made New Vegas.

Pretty excited about this, as the first two Fallout games are two of my favorites and I remember playing Wasteland way back when.
