I was very slight for all but postpartum depression in which I scored high moderate, yet I only answered one question in a way that was negative. That was a "yes somewhat" to did my mood drop after birth.
While baby blues are highly common in the beginning, especially for nursing mothers as they are usually more sleep deprived (unless you practice co sleeping or bed sharing) I will admit in the beginning when he was suffering from reflux/colicky I was probably a blink away from ppd or pp anxiety...but I'm much better now. Luckily my mom lives here and stepped in to help out during the day. I also had my thyroid checked which was off. Just changing that dosage, some help, a bit more sleep, and establishing a "me day" where I dropped him off and got out of the house fixed that.

These questions are really misleading
I answered that I have some days where I'm more confident so then it asked "follow up questions" I know for a fact I do not have BPD, and I guess have a more confident day makes you seem like it on the interwebz

if you have to take an internet test to find out you are depressed, you're probably not depressed

I have to say that I expected at least a couple of Slight/Moderate results since these tests tend to weigh "occasional" type answers too heavily. (Really, who doesn't grab a drink or beer to unwind / chill after a long day OCCASIONALY?). It is nice to actually agree with the results from a test like this for once. I wonder what your lattitude has to do with the answers. I ended up choosing C since we're pretty much right between B & C.

Not surprised by anything except the bipolar business. I don't have psycho mood swings but they happen from time to time (more seasonal, over longer periods).

Not sure if I should bump this or not
But I'm in a seriously low spot right now. I haven't been this depressed in years and the meds don't seem to be helping. I've been switched from Zoloft to Effexor for about 4 months now and I honestly think going back to the zoloft would be better. I dunno. I'm just in such a shit place. It takes everything just to get up in the morning and go to work, forget about taking care of things around the house or being social. I even caught myself tearing up for no reason the other day. Told the shrink and he's trying me on this abilify like shit, but I've only had a days dose in me at this point. Anyone have any experience with abilify when you're already in the gutter?
