Location is awesome, but we're buying a house. Signed a year lease a few months back, and we're looking for someone to take it over at the end of June / beginning of July.

They are asking ~$830 for two bedroom apartments here right now, but we're locked in at $780 and you can pick up on our rate. 1st floor apartment with an outdoor patio that is close to a building water spigot; it was perfect for us because we liked to grow plants and vegetables on the patio, and we were able to water them with the building spigot.
Utilities are pretty low here on the first floor as well.
Really good location, right off Gorman street and you can walk to the Lake Johnson trail here.
Anyone interested? 5/21/2012 10:45:56 PM |

I've very interested, but I'm wondering if you couldn't take some pictures yourself? Their pictures on the website aren't very good, and the rental places always show you the "nicest" of their units. For example, does yours have the newer stainless kitchen appliances, or the older set? Et cetera. Would like to see pictures. 5/22/2012 11:17:29 PM |

Walnut creek has three "tiers". The first is super shitty. The second is updated cabinets and updated white appliances which is what he have. It's clean and looks very good by my standards.
The third tier is "executive", with gray appliances and the cabinets painted black.
Send me a PM and you can drop by and take a look.
^ Salami. We smell like salami. Why can't anyone get that right?
^^ A good mix of college students, RTP employees (because the complex is so close to the Gorman/I-40 exit) and blue collar types. I wouldn't say low-income, but, eh. It's going to be lower-income types than renters at Briar Creek, and higher-income types than renters in East Raleigh.

First person to take over my lease keeps my washer and dryer, and keeps my deposit. You need to pass the application background check, and need proof of income. Looking to get someone in July 1st.
Here's my craigs listing: http://raleigh.craigslist.org/apa/3040446283.html
In addition to my washer and dryer, and keeping my deposit, I'll give a t-duber $55 cash to refund the application fee if you pass and sign that you'll take over the lease.
