I've probably read On the Road a dozen times

I think I'll enjoy the movie if it does a good job capturing the general spirit and aesthetic of the book, but I don't anticipate it being anything more than a very loose adaptation. 90 minutes just isn't enough time to get across just how gay Jack Kerouac was for Neal Cassady. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
