i didnt see a thread for this or even just a general horse racing thread so i apologize if its out of place. but i just heard on the Dan Patrick Show that I'll Have Another suffered an injury and will be out of the belmont stakes. even said he might not be able to race again. i might have actually watched the race this weekend to see a chance at history.

then you obviously didn't read the story. You don't fuck with tendon issues in horses. If he had raced, he would have been seriously injured further. not fair to the horse and since he wasn't at the top of his game, wouldn't have won anyway. this horse has had a history of leg issues, they did the right thing by him to scratch him and retire him.
