i enjoyed the book, but the trailers for this didnt look very good to me. i'm not surprised to hear it stinks, but i am disappointed. it could make a pretty decent movie i think.

This was truly horrible. I've read and enjoyed the book, but they used barely anything from it, and really completely fucked up even the TRUE parts of Abe's life that was core in the book.

Acting was terrible, action was mediocre.

Not sure why they didn't use the book as a script would have been much better.

It was as good as a movie titled "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter" could possibly be. I don't get all the hate. If you think its a stupid premise don't waste your time watching it and you won't be disappointed. I never read the book, but enjoyed the movie for what it was.

I loved the book. 1st time I ever read a book prior to seeing the movie and was pretty stoked if it was going to be like the book. It of course was nothing like the book beyond title and Abe Lincoln.

Benjamin Walker played a horrible Lincoln. Lincoln was known as an amazing and motivating orator(SP?), yet his speeches were bland.

The book was good, but they went so far away from the book, they ruined it. They were too busy trying to make it appeal to the new generation with sex and witty comments and comedy, that they missed a good oppertunity.

Rent it, wait for it on Netflix, don't waste your time going to the theaters. Sucks this movie sucked, I actually had been looking forward to this movie for a long time.

was a lot better than I was expecting. Not saying its great, but I thought it was pretty solid considering the premise is that there are vampires, and that Abe Lincoln, the President hunts them. I enjoyed it more than The Avengers which almost made me fall asleep
