This scooter has sat for a while . . . . was meant to be something I'd put together and ride a bit for shits and giggles and then probably sell. It got sidelined in favor of a real motorcycle, heh.


I picked it up from the original owner after the batteries died (he didn't ride it or top it up in too long). Will need new batteries at the very least, but to the best of my knowledge everything else is fully functional. The batteries have been pulled and its been sitting in my backyard for far too long, so either as a project or as spare parts you pick it up and haul it off! Has only 82 miles on the odometer, the plastics/etc are in decent shape, and the key and charger are included. Top speed with good batteries is 35mph (more, if someone light is riding), and it has high and low gears for climbing uphill and cruising. Looks, drives, and handles no different from your standard 50cc scooter.

The battery system is 5x 12V batteries, the originals were rated at 38Ah each. According to a lot of things I've read the original Chinese batteries just plain sucked, and weren't good for even half of that capacity even new. UPS batteries ought to work just fine as a substitute if someone wants to ride it short distances on the cheap.


If nothing else it would appear many of the parts are interchangeable with 50cc gas powered models such as the tires, shocks, front wheel and brakes, etc.

Almost certainly doable, the motor controller circuitry is pretty simple from what I understand.

You could also pull the great big chunky DC motor and controller and attach it to a bicycle . . . . it'd be pretty suicidal, but also likely great fun.
