Yep. Based on a heavily modified Taurus platform, with the aluminum DOHC 32V V8 from the Mark VIII (slightly detuned so as not to stress the FWD platform and gearbox too much, but still 260 HP). Nice cars despite the layout, and that's a great motor. Can get 200K+ out of it easily as long as you don't overheat it. Plus for '98 they replaced the front air suspension with coils, eliminating a common trouble spot.
