I need some extra computing power so I'm looking for higher end Radeon cards that may not be useable for gaming(pixelation, locks up... etc) but that still post and enter windows. If i have to underclock or under volt them its cool.

Also looking for this list of cards(since I'm posting this on tww I do not want to pay retail... or the double retail people are asking for on craigslist ):

Radeon 5750: $20
Radeon 5770: $40
Radeon 5830: $50
Radeon 5850: $55
Radeon 6670: $20
Radeon 6770: $40

All I know is that I am eternally grateful to have that old card off my hands and serving a useful purpose without me having to hassle with it being recycled and/or ending up in a landfill.

Yup, I'm getting into bitcoin mining. I also am interested in parallel programing and expect to dabble in the field this semester.

Once again thanks Chris, and any one that has a card thats producing artefacts or even if you want to just upgrade soon and need some cash. My list above is the cards I'm specifically looking for but let me know what you have!

He is going to make a whole building out of flat-screens with cameras. He needs the many video cards to run the cameras.

His building will then appear to be invisible kind of like the car in that james bond movie.

what I cant figure out is how it will look invisible to more than one onlooker at the same time, unless they're on opposite sides of the building.

If you mount 1 camera for every four screens and make a dome out of the screens you just pipe the view from each camera to the screens on the opposite side of the building....


The hard part is the screens on the roof... I'm just using blurred pictures of a grassy field for those... i figure people seeing it on google earth will think it is some celebrities' house and be like... fuck it.

now give me your graphics cards!
