We need to somehow get deb from dexter and carrie in the same room. Lots of fuckedupedness for one screen to handle

She's a great actrees, but her face turns into something cringe-worthy when she cries. I can't stand it.

For me, last night's episode was the best in the series.

I did have a problem with it, however. I suspected Brody was going to send a message, but I told my wife before it happened, that in all likelihood, they would prohibit phones in this room, OR block cell signals from getting in or out of there at all.

Agreed, awesome episode.

I love how Saul is finding out who Brody really is this early in the series.

how can they keep him around if he knows? carrie never really knew the truth, but even if she did, people would dismiss it because she's nuts. its not that easy with saul.

yeah as soon as saul found out that's saul's death sentence, especially if you watch the previews it was what was hinted at where brody is cleaning blood off

maybe they use him Brody to get to Nazir. i don't know.

there something a little funky going on with Saul. remember when he first did the lie detector test. he didn't pass. then he had extra time to prepare.

My thought was this...that Brody could claim he was forced into making that video while he was in captivity. I didn't see a timestamp on the recording. Might be a stretch, but still sort of plausible.

I don't think Brody was killing Saul. I think Brody was killing his former platoon guy who was talking shit to him in the bar. I think he might figure something out and get buried for it, literally.

^ thinking the same thing. I had forgotten about something shady going on with Saul and it hit me at the end of the episode. Also the other middle eastern dude working at the cia is shady too

Brody being able to text Abu Nazir from inside the Pentagon is a pretty big stretch.

i don't think he directly text Nazir i think it was a text to that girl. but i figure he do it, and its a bit of a plot hole. but they had to do something.

I'm not saying it wasn't a great episode (it was) but he should not have been able to text ANYONE in that room.

yeah, the texting in the room thing was a little bogus. As well as Carrie, the middle eastern expert, saying EYE-RAN, instead of i-RAH-n....

I'm starting to wonder if that's the case...

He failed the lie detector test first off. He also denied Carrie's request for surveillance on his house. Then when Brodie was with the President etc about to blow them up, Carrie knew something was up and Saul had her detained. Then there's his rug he always insists on keeping straight.

I mean it's kind of a longshot considering he's Jewish (at least implied that his character is)...but even if he turns up not being a mole, they're dropping all sorts of clues to make you think he might be.

didn't Saul give the go-ahead on the entire Nasir assassination operation when he had perfectly good reasons not to?

one thing i've always wonder is who called the couple in the house. they where really close to following the guy back to his house. and there's a phone call is girl then puts the flag out.

then Saul goes all the way to Mexico to get her.

^Makes sense what he's saying. The couple that had the house with the clear sight to the Air Force One/Marine One transfer point were about to get bagged going home, when she got a call that they were onto him, and she hung the sign. He kept on going and did not stop, and then she bailed to Mexico, where she was arrested and Saul drove her back up solo while interviewing her. But who put the call in that they were about to get busted? I don't think it is Saul, but there has been some sort of mole/informant in the CIA working with Nazir's crew that has had access to intel on ops before Brody. For example, how did the lady have the code to David's safe? That isn't something he left on a sticky note that wound up in the trash. So while Brody may have tipped off Nazir on that capture op, he has not been the one hooking them up before.

Danny is the mole. Something's fishy with Saul though.

good episode last night. the flat tire was another convenient plot device, but I'm glad Saul made it out with the video. even a few episodes into the second season, it feels like things are just getting ready to get started

I think what they are going to do is close the Brody arc this season, and they have set us up for a season long adventure of how Brody is going down. Should be more pleasurable to watch than last season, when the tension was building up to a lot of bad things.
