I'd love feedback there or here, although I'd prefer it there since I get alerts and it's easier to follow conversations. 9/8/2012 9:14:06 PM |

If you can't tl;dr your own post, how do you expect to tl;dr legislation? 9/8/2012 9:54:37 PM |

If you're going to say this:
Quote : | "TLR – If you can’t read 1000 words now, wait till you have 5-7 minutes to spare and come back later. Help be part of the solution, not the problem." |
don't start off your post with a quote. You're being part of the problem.9/9/2012 1:57:00 PM |

it's not integral for the project that anyone read the quote but it is there to let people know that their time will be wasted if they were to just comment "this will never work, you should do something else"
can anyone please make a comment on the their impression of the PROJECT, whatever that may be...not the length of the post, not the quote... 9/9/2012 2:45:35 PM |

I read the entire text and I don't know what the project is about.
Quote : | "One website/application: to educate about the legal system, to perform thorough analysis on legislation, and to create language appropriate for legislation – all by internet users and all occurring in a transparent and open process. To the best of my ability, I am unaware of an online entity dedicated solely to this purpose " |
Your language is stream of consciousness. You didn't even say want you want to do. You hinted. You didn't use full sentences. You created a heading, indicating that the coming fragments are about a singular website or application. Which? I suppose you don't know yourself. I understand that you want to create this... thing. How many websites have you launched so far?9/9/2012 3:19:39 PM |

ok thats good feedback, i can work with that
it's confusing because NOTHING is being made, it's conceptual, it's design by features, it's what would you want to include in a product if time/money were no object?
so that being said, should it be a site? should it be a standalone program? should it be a client portal with a desktop like experience? 9/9/2012 3:23:58 PM |

It should be a legalese-to-Standard-English translator
or for more difficulty, try legalese-to-USA-Today 9/9/2012 4:44:52 PM |

never gonna happen, based entirely on hundreds of years of having real world terms and legal terms. you can't go back and rewrite all of that and it would only confuse people to realign them together and then have historical differences from different periods.
[Edited on September 9, 2012 at 5:02 PM. Reason : but I do think a stricly online legal dictionary might be a good suggestion then, thanks for comment] 9/9/2012 4:48:04 PM |

an integrated one though
remember my #1 design philosophy is the fewest page refreshes as possible and that would entail having to switch to external sources so if it can be included it should be 9/9/2012 7:30:31 PM |

This sentence is a little confusing. Just for the sake of proofreading, what article is being reference by "whom"?9/11/2012 11:34:44 AM |

"the active ones" - basically the people we see on tv, talking heads, politicians, or in some cases just the really really political people you know that never seem to shut up about it 9/12/2012 4:45:21 AM |
