Well, after 14 months and 45,120 miles, I decided the Juke was not what I needed in a vehicle.
1.6L GDI Turbo with 180hp in the smallest 'SUV' sold....

The dealership that did all the work (oil changes, etc) had a car on the lot that I had been looking at, and I decided it was a much better fit for me. I traded in the Juke for price that wasn't a total beating and worked them down a little on the price of the other car. I even got them to throw in floor mats.

2009 Maxima SV, fully loaded, 40k on the odo:
CPO with warranty through 100k.

oh, and ibft NMSJ

yeah, she shot down the truck idea in a heart beat.
Besides, the truck is about 3 feet longer than my garage.

Here is the best part. She doesn't know that I bought the car.
We have been car shopping to replace her 14 year old jeep. This is my second new car while we have been looking for her.
I may not make it to raleigh this weekend because she has killed me. Or I'll be moving back because she has kicked me out.

45K miles in 14 months? Damn, that's some driving.

Your username is appropriate once again though. (try not turboing this one, at least not for a while, k?)

I think the fact that she didn't leave you when you bought a juke bodes well for you in that regard.

Well, that went better than expected.
I think I'll be allowed in the bed tonight, but I should probably stay on my side.
She is still super pissed and I want to still have all my parts when I wake up.

With the latest iteration I've tried figuring out what purpose the Maxima serves in the Nissan line up. It's billed as a sports sedan but it's heavy, FWD and only available with a CVT.

Nonetheless, congrats on getting rid of the CUV!

coworker has one... CVT is 'neat' based on my first-drive experience, and the steering wheel felt smaller than it should have been.

seeing as how my 'gauge' is a 91 civic with worn suspension and a lowered 3/4 ton truck - it drove rather well as a commuter

seriously the juke... to me looks like a "fuck form" dakkar truck... and it would have been nice if it was outfitted as such.

I mean turbo 2.0 liter... real transmission, tough suspension and real awd... that thing would have been a rallyxers wet dream...

but really... it's an ugly econobox.... which no one really wants.
