Been kicking around the idea of selling the MSM. It's just not that practical anymore and I've spent a good deal of money and time on maintenance lately.

That's where my problem with selling comes in. It's in pretty decent shape and drivable, but I still can't track down this exhaust leak that's been plaguing me lately and I'm tired of wasting money on it when I don't REALLY want the car anymore anyway. Clearly I would be open about it with any potential buyer. I just had it inspected and it passed smog, but it's noticeable on startup.

I just wonder how much it would hurt the chances of getting it sold or how much I'd have to drop the price to make it worth the risk for the buyer. I don't want to rely on waiting for someone who just wants to replace the whole exhaust with aftermarket or anything either. Would you guys be willing to buy a car in this condition?

2004 Mazdaspeed Miata. 107,000 miles. Few dings/scratches from being a daily driver for 6 years. Recently replaced clutch and belts. Replaced manifold but leak still persists. Hoping to get $7500

1. Convince Duke that ke needs another turbo Miata
2. Sell him a Miata with a leaking manifold without any guilt trips, he'll be getting a new manifold anyway
3. [...]
4. Profit!

lol I thought about that. I'd just leave the Flyin' Miata catalog in the front seat.

Here's a couple quick shots I took when I got home from work today. Once I get her all nice and cleaned up I'll take some more detailed ones for any listings I put out.

I'm going to take silence as not very positive.

It's a nice looking car and a decently desirable one. I imagine you'd still be able to sell it to someone who is either mechanically inclined, or who specifically wants an MSM.

your license plate frame is illegal.

also, take it to RJ's and have him fix the exhaust leak before you put it for sale.

Who is this RJ that you speak of?

There's a guy I trust in greenville, but I'd rather avoid going that far if I don't have to.

If I had the cash laying around I'd seriously consider buying it. Need something to ease into RWD

RJ's is located behind the Carmax buying center and Jiffy Lube on the west side of Capital blvd. just south of the New Hope Church rd. intersection.
