It's a long shot but...,

Does anybody know any powertrain engineers with experience in chassis dyno emissions, fuel economy, or OBD testing? or knowledge of engine calibration/tuning? Knowledge of the newest fuel economy and emissions-related systems is a plus, especially if they know hybrids and direct injected turbo engines. Or at least be an ME (or recent graduate) with a day job in another industry that can make a strong case for their capability.

Oh, and they would have to live in southeast Michigan or be willing to move there.

Um I tune my own car and didn't delete the O2 sensor code and it still passes all but visual inspection without a cat.

And that's sorta my dream job.

It depends on the catalyst monitor logic and rear o2 sensor control logic, and how that was tuned during development. And it depends on how your aftermarket exhaust system changed the sensor readings, and whether something else was changed in the ECU that you aren't thinking about right now. Catalyst monitors are based on oxygen storage capacity calculations.
