probably depends on what you're using it for, it should be fine for normal stuff and occasional use but if you plan to use it for hours a day you will see the savings disappear pretty quick with a mouse that isn't rechargeable unless you already have rechargeable batteries to use with it.

just be aware, though, that this might be one of the smaller mice (since it's a "notebook" mouse) and as such might get uncomfortable with prolonged use
