1. Give some space in that Wolf Pack chant, you need to hear all of PACK before you yell WOLF. When you go so fast, it diminishes the effect and on tv it sounds like "WOL..ACK" instead of when you take it easy and get the awesome "WOLF...PACK...WOLF...PACK" which sounds amazing on tv

2. If we are not up or down by 3 TD's or more and it isnt the 4th quarter, DO NOT START THE WAVE. The Wave requires you to not watch the field and cheer the team, it is the fan version of masturbating. Knock it off

Can I also add, have some football smarts. Offense isn't the time to yell and cheer. Our team is in the huddle, shut the hell up so the offense can hear the play and can hear the snap count.

^^^^^Of course the crowd isn't going to be silent with 57,583 people there. But I've seen the student section yelling extremely loud on offense before. Its a home field advantage for a reason. Quite on offense and loud on defense.

Can I also throw in actually listening to the band when the fight song is being played rather than clapping as fast as possible? It sounds ridiculous to hear everyone yell "GO STATE" and the band finishes the song 5 seconds later. Its not that difficult.

I concur with any hate on the wave. You do the wave when you are bored, when there is a lightning delay say...not in a 6 point game in the fourth quarter.

I blame the cheerleaders when the WOLF....PACK chant gets going wrong. They are holding up the signs and kind of control the cadence initially. If they screw it up, then it only gets worse when the full crowd is into it.

I complained about the same things back when I was going to games in 04 and 05. There was nothing worse than getting behind a group of ugly chicks that sat around on their phones the entire game and yelled, "Oh my gooood, do like something like run the ball a different way..."

And then you had your frat boys that were just, "Wolf...pWOLFck..WOLF.paWOLF"

and the clapping during any of the band songs, seemed like everyone was on speed. They would just clap their asses off as fast as they could without paying attention to the beat.

Its always been annoying and always will be annoying, because 75% of the students/fan base just don't give a shit.

It has been nearly 3 years since my last visit to Carter-Finley but the absolute WORST was when that guy used to get on the microphone to lead a cheer while the offense was in the huddle. Did they ever pull the plug on him or is that still an annoying thing to deal with in the student section?

"Block that kick!" made sense, but when we were going for a field goal he started going "Make that kick!" and it was annoying as hell.
