I love daylight savings time, but the problem is as the days get shorter the sun won't rise until after 8 am in some places, if we stick to DST. I've read that there are more car wrecks during DST and it was the cause of multiple deaths at bus stops when kids were hit by cars. I've also read that there is an increase in treatment for depression in November around the time we fall back.

^^ the winter depression usually hits me in February when I get tired of below freezing temperatures and no snow. Then as soon as it hits 33°F outside, we get rain or sleet. Such is life in Piedmont NC.

By least impacted I mean Florida gets the most daylight. Even on the winter solstice, Florida receives over 10 hours of sunlight--nearly 2 hours more than Seattle. If Floridians can't figure out a playground playdate or tee time then perhaps they should focus more on time management and less on moral panic gay bashing.

Also, Marco Rubio and the state of Florida are both accurately described as 'shits stupid'.

Software updates won't be that hard. They shifted the dates by several weeks to extend daylight time several years ago. Didn't notice any major issues then.
