How mandatory is it to have the signature notarized?
Context: I wanna have my buddy sign his title, and me take said title to the junkyard to fetch $300.
Think they'll want the signature notarized? 11/1/2012 7:22:30 PM |

If you are going to bother getting the title signed, might as well make it official IMO. Plenty of places that will do the notary for free (ie: NCSECU branch, just walk in and ask for a public notory, $FREE).
If they need a title at the junkyard, chances are they'll need a notorized title. I mean, how sketch would it be if you could just show up with a title that isn't notorized? Come on mang. 11/1/2012 7:47:53 PM |

Nothing. Just came and towed it away, I went over and they scanned my license and took my info. Wasn't registered or titled in my name either (friend asked me to get rid of it while they were overseas). 11/1/2012 10:18:40 PM |

I don't know the specific info off hand, but if a car is past a certain age, no info is required. 11/2/2012 8:19:06 AM |

Just go in person or call and ask if they need a title, that would certainly be the easiest way. 11/2/2012 12:16:02 PM |
