Maybe I don't remember the details, but why does Optimus look all beat up? And yeah, he is a snub nosed truck now.

Marky Mark, who is just a regular guy, knows what transformers are and talks about them as if everyone does and they're not really a "new" thing anymore.

Optimus prime is old and beat up for some unknown reason.

So tough to say how long for sure, but I'm guessing quite some time since the last one.

It was bad. Really bad. Robot fight scenes were the same as usual but the story was god awful, the humans somehow managed to be worse than Shia somehow, the product placement was way worse than any of the prequels, and it was stupid long. I will say deadlock was a pretty good villain, john goodman transformer was good, and dinobots were pretty good. Pans, at this point, I feel like Prime says the same shit in every movie, just in a different order to make it sound fresh. For a reboot, it really felt like a step backwards from Dark of the Moon.

Saw it this weekend my main complaint was the length they needed to cut about 20-30 minutes off and it wouldnt have been so bad. Other than that it was basically like the other movies as long as you werent expecting some solid plot and just shit blowing up it was decent. They definitely left it wide open for another one so dont think this is the end thats for sure.

As I watched it all I could think of was "oh look, the transformers are covering a group of humans carrying some small transformery thing through a city while the city gets blown up...haven't seen that before"

Holy fuck that was bad. I think I saw the first two...and I know they were cheesy...but I don't remember them being that bad. I hope Wahlberg got a nice fat check for this one (I'm sure he did).

This movie made so much money, it is sad. Michael Bay knew that he was making a steaming pile of garbage, but he knew how to sell it. Between all of the advertisements, and its big Chinese scenes, he made money hand over fist overseas.
